Veggie Gardening …..

Take a break from HomeSchooling

Well, there’s a rush on Seeds from all your Heirloom Gardening sites and Bunnings is running out of Seedlings ….. if CVOID-19 Pandemic is anything to go by we are getting back to basics, and isn’t it thoroughly enjoyable?

There’s been an ever so slow shift to baking, board games, jig-saws, building swings in the trees, bike rides, skimming rocks and gardening. The joy and presence we are able to spend with ourselves, loved ones, getting our hands dirty and making beautiful memories is something to be cherished. We’ve reinvigorated our Veggie Patch a little while ago, the Kale, Basil & Chilli Plants have run wild, now we have some order but we’ve kept it simple – the veggies we eat the most.

Spring Onions, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Rocket and we’ve resurrected the poor old Pumpkin vine over the water tanks and have a Rockmelon, Oranges, Lemonade Trees, Limes, the poor neglected Avocado tree has 6 little Avos on it and Passionfruit going ballistic. It’s so wonderful to eat the food you grow.

ABC have again come up with the goods if you’re serious about Veggie Gardening ….. Costa & his adorable team have some brilliant tips and tricks, for ISO gardening, and for gardening in gardens of all sizes!
